I believe that there is nothing in the world that a student can not achieve with honesty, hard work, and discipline. Along with the textbook syllabus, I ensure that each student of mine understands and learns the importance of consistency and effort. I often choose Michelle Obama’s quotes to explain it better, it says, “We learned about honesty and integrity that the truth matters that you don’t take shortcuts or play by your own set of rules and success doesn’t count unless you earn it fair and square.” For me, teaching is beyond good grades and mark sheets, says Satyam Sir.
An extremely qualified, talented, and hardworking professional, Mr. Satyam Kumar Srivastav is a Chemistry teacher from Aurangabad, Bihar. Currently pursuing B.ed, he also holds a Master's degree in Chemistry. He calls the subject beautiful and the chemical combinations magical. For as long as he remembers, he loved Chemistry as a subject. Due to unfavorable circumstances, he began teaching at a very young age, however, gradually it transformed into his passion. The journey that began with two students is receiving support from more than two hundred students now. He runs two successful institutes in Aurangabad by the name of ‘Satyam Chemistry Classes’.
When the pandemic struck, the teachers were left clueless. The times were challenging, especially for the private educators, he wanted to find a way out. He began teaching through a youtube channel, but it was a complex process altogether. As suggested by some friends, he also tried various platforms like zoom and google meet, but nothing provided a good learning experience to his students. Either the video quality was poor or the app was not working in low bandwidth. That is when he came across Teachmint.
