Her childhood was not full of resources, but was surely full of dedication to learn and make her own identity. The closest private school she remembers from those days was 25 kilometers away from her home. Back then, she could not afford such expensive education & additional expenses like travel costs. Therefore, she decided to complete the 12th standard from a government school nearby. The same was the case with pursuing graduation & post-graduation. Lack of finances did not allow her to pursue higher education from a good university, however, she managed to complete post-graduation from an open university. Her willingness to learn was so high that she ended up having two master's degrees along with a diploma in computer application. There were hundreds of students like her who wanted to study but did not have access to quality education. Hence, she decided to join a private school in her town. Today, she completes 5 wonderful years in the teaching profession, she has impacted the lives of more than 500 students in this span of time. Her story is not only moving but also very inspiring.
While talking about her online teaching career, Meenakshi Ma’am shared that she started her online teaching journey almost one year back. While the world was fighting the pandemic, teachers were facing a challenge to run smooth online classes. She initially conducted classes on applications like WhatsApp & google meet, but since these apps are not designed for teaching, conducting classes on them was difficult. Luckily, she came across Teachmint and installed it immediately. Before suggesting the application to the school management, she tested the platform herself. Once satisfied, she recommended Teachmint to all her colleagues. She loves teaching on Teachmint and teaches over 150 students enrolled in her classroom.
