Today, we bring you the story of Sitaram Thakare, a school teacher from Maharashtra who believes in pushing his boundaries to assist students in their overall development. Sitaram Thakare is a school teacher who teaches the students of Savitribai Phule Girls High School, Maharashtra. He provides continuous support to over 350 girl students in his school. Sitaram Sir provides lessons to the students of classes 5th to 10th. He teaches subjects like Marathi, Sanskrit, History, and Geography.
Talking about the start of his teaching journey, Sitaram Sir recalls, ‘Getting into the education sector was unplanned. After completing my class 12th, I appeared for an examination for the post of bus conductor. I cleared the written examination but was rejected in the oral exam. However, I took it as a lesson and decided to continue learning.’ After failing the test, Sitaram Sir enrolled himself in an undergraduate course. He did B.A. in History and Political Science. However, he wanted to learn more so later enrolled himself in a postgraduate course. Sitaram Sir completed his postgraduate studies at a university in Nagpur.
While talking about his motivation behind taking up the teaching course, Sitaram Sir says that he loves to be around children. He loves their company as they always encourage him to push his boundaries. Moreover, Sitaram Sir’s mentor and professors encouraged him to take teaching as a career.
Talking about Teachmint, Sitaram Sir mentions that he used various online platforms to conduct online classes during the pandemic. However, he was not completely satisfied with those platforms. Moreover, he faced difficulties recording his live lectures. That's when he learned about Teachmint from the internet.

Talking about the difficulties faced during the pandemic, Sitaram Sir mentions that it was difficult to cope with the changes in the initial days.
