Vineet Shukla is a private tutor who provides mathematics classes to primary students. Most of his students are in standards 6th-8th. In addition, he also teaches candidates preparing for various competitive examinations. Vineet Sir mentions that his teaching journey started at a young age. First, he was approached by his classmates for mathematics classes. Vineet Sir recalls, ‘I started giving mathematics classes to the low-performing students of my class. This process continued for three years until I graduated from my school.’
Like every other teacher, Vineet Sir faced difficulties during the pandemic. He was unable to reach out to his students as the offline classes were shut. They should focus on strengthening their concepts and building a strong knowledge base. However, they must not make the learning process boring. They must understand that learning is fun and they can take in new concepts in engaging ways.’ Vineet Sir strongly supports that education should be focused on getting knowledge and not on improving marks.
