How to Get Admission to SPPU?
Each course has specific eligibility requirements. Therefore, you must check with the concerned department to know the exact eligibility requirements for a particular programme. You may also check for the eligibility criteria online via the official website of SPPU. The following steps should be followed to get admission to the desired course:
Step 1
You can fill out the application form online to seek admission to the course of your choice. However, first, you need to complete the registration on the official portal of SPPU. The username will be the email ID. Upon completing the registration, an OTP will be sent on the registered email id. You will have to enter it to confirm your account. Details like mobile number can also be added to the profile.
Step 2
Once the registration part is complete, you can log in with the email id and password. Now, you can choose the course, open the application form, and fill in the required details. Complete the profile with information like your name, academic scores, and other personal information. You may save the application form.
Step 3
It is possible to review the application form to ensure that all the provided details are correct. After that, you may submit the application form online.
Step 4
After submitting the application form, you need to pay the application fees online. The application fee can be paid via net banking, debit card, or credit card, as per your convenience. You may also download the application form for further use.
Step 5
Once the form is submitted, the officials will go through your details and decide whether you are eligible for the seat or not.
SPPU Entrance Exams
Many courses require that you clear the entrance test. The exam pattern and syllabus vary for each course, but these entrance tests mainly have MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). Also, each question carries one mark, whereas a negative marking of 0.25 is done for the wrong answers. Some entrance tests also contain descriptive questions or problems.
You will be notified about the exam centres once you submit the application form. Most of the exam centres are in Maharashtra, but some out of state centres are also available for those who don’t live in the state. These are the exam centres allotted by SPPU:

SPPU Admit Card 2022
Admit cards for the entrance tests can be downloaded online by using the login credentials created while filling out the application form. It is suggested that you print a few copies of this admit card. Along with the admit card, you should also carry valid ID proof while appearing for the entrance test.
The following details will be available on the admit card. You must check these details properly to avoid any issues afterwards:
- Name
- Application Number
- Code and Name of the Programme for which you have applied
- Timing of the entrance exam
- Exam centre address
- Your respective category (as per your provided details)
- Instructions to be followed on the day of the exam
The results of the entrance exam will also be declared online. The results are available in the merit list or rank format. You can download the result via the official website of SPPU in three ways viz application number, username, and course name.
After that, you will be invited for a counseling session. Carry the required documents. After submitting them, you will be granted admission to the desired course.
