Mrs. Chaitali Thakur who has her roots in West Bengal and resides in the heart of Karnataka -'Gulbarga’', is a Chemistry Teacher by profession. Science being her favorite subject and since sharing knowledge was her passion, she decided to take up teaching as a full-time career. She started teaching students from class first to class twelfth and with her versatile knowledge, she has changed the life of many students.
Being a teacher for more than 25 years, she has taught more than a thousand students, she has been teaching for more than two decades and hence teaching became an integral part of her life. As they say-
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."- Confucius
But then COVID hit and everything came to a standstill, schools were shut, the whole educational system was suffering and collapsing. Teachers, as well as the students, were looking for options to continue with the teaching-learning process and online teaching acted as a shield and made the teachers as well as students hopeful once again.
Chaitali ma'am gave online teaching a shot, she worked really hard to provide her students the same comfort and same knowledge as in traditional schooling. But the online teaching apps that she used didn't provide the students as well as the teachers the best features and options that are required to run an online class smoothly.
She was facing a lot of problems but the major problem she was facing was the time limit on sessions on other teaching apps. All teachers would want to teach at their own pace. Making sure that the students understand the topic, clarifying their doubts, and testing their understanding takes time and the teachers cannot teach comfortably with a time limit clock over their heads. She was not satisfied with her own teaching. That is when Chaitali ma'am tried and tested all the available teaching apps in India and came across Teachmint. And she's been using Teachmint for over one year.

The doubts that my students have, motivate me to do better every day. When asked about her advice to all the aspiring/ existing teachers she said-
Teaching is not just a profession, it's an act of mankind and humanity. Not everyone is lucky enough to contribute to society's well-being. Thus, teaching should be a person's first choice and not the last option.
