Karnataka SSLC Class 10 Result Announced

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board has released the board exam results for Class 10th students. The result was announced on 19th May 2022 and candidates can check their results online by visiting the official website of the education board. Students can enter their details on the official website- sslc.karnataka.gov.in. In addition to the results published on the website, candidates will also receive the scorecard on their registered mobile number.

The pass percentage of the Karnataka SSLC exam recorded this year stands at 85.63 percent. Girls gave a better academic performance in comparison to the boys. The pass percentage for girl candidates stood at 90.29 percent. On the other hand, boys recorded a pass percentage of 81.30 percent.

Every year, lakhs of students register themselves for class 10th board exams conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. This year approximately 8.8 lakhs students registered themselves for the exams, out of which 20,000 students were absent from the exam. Nearly 8.5 lakhs students appeared for the exam, out of which 7.3 lakhs students successfully passed the exam and are qualified to take admission to higher secondary classes. The pass percentage for girl candidates was greater than the percentage of boys passing the Karnataka SSLC exams.

According to the exam results, 22 districts in Karnataka have received A grades while two have scored grade B in the 10th board examination. Out of the total students who appeared for exams, 145 students have scored full marks. That means 145 students scored 625/625 in the board examination. Candidates from rural areas have performed better than the students who appeared in the exam from urban areas. The pass percentage for rural areas stands at 91.32 percent as compared to 86.64% in urban areas. Most students scored the highest marks in Social Studies followed by the third language.
