This adage sums up the value of teachers and how they are the creators of their students’ futures. Ameen Husain is a private educator who believes that teaching is one of the professions that shape every other profession in the world. He is a private educator based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He teaches nearly 250 students through his coaching institute Edu Vista.
Talking about his teaching journey Ameen Sir mentions, ‘I always scored good marks in my school days. Mathematics was my favorite subject, but many of my friends feared this subject. That’s when they asked me to solve their doubts and prepare them for the final examination. Giving mathematics classes to my classmates was the start of my teaching journey. I slowly developed an interest in teaching and used to give lectures to my classmates after school. This also helped me revise all chapters before my examinations.’
After completing his school education, Ameen Sir joined a college for his undergraduate studies. Then he decided to study further and did his master’s in physics. Ameen Sir also holds a B.Ed degree as he believes that having a professional degree will establish his credibility as a teacher.
Ameen Sir used to provide offline classes to his students before the pre-pandemic era. During the pandemic, he had to shut his tuition center. However, he started his online classes through Teachmint. He learned about our platform while surfing the internet. Ameen Sir recalls, ‘I remember when I started teaching five years back. I started my classes with a batch size of 4-5 students. Slowly, my class size grew as I started giving good results. Today, I am teaching nearly 250 students in online and offline modes. Also, I can reach more students outside my geographical boundaries with Teachmint.’
Ameen Sir believes that quality speaks for itself. Every teacher should put quality before quantity. He believes that providing quality education to students will not only improve their class performance but will also help them understand concepts better. Moreover, it will bring more students to teachers because good results speak for themselves. He says, ‘Student’s performance is the best indicator of the success of any educational center. If students are performing better, teachers will get more enrollments.’
Expressing his happiness for the Diamond Education Award, Ameen Sir mentions that he is happy to receive the award. It shows that he is fulfilling his responsibilities as a teacher. He says, ‘Now, I am gearing up for the Platinum award. I am happy that my efforts are getting recognized.’
Ameen Sir has a special message for all his students. He wants that his students remain consistent in their studies. He says, ‘Being consistent improves overall performance. Also, it helps students grasp the knowledge in a better way.’
