CBSE Class 10,12 Compartment Exam from Tomorrow

CBSE will conduct the practical examinations for classes 10 and 12 on 23rd August. Students appearing for the class 12th compartment exam will be giving the exam on 23rd August 2022. However, the compartment exam for class 10th students will get over on 29th August. The board has decided to conduct exams for every student placed in RP (Repeat in Practical) or RB (Repeat in Theory and Practical both) categories in any subject.

When issuing the guidelines for the practical examination, CBSE personnel have mentioned that a student who has been declared Repeat in Practical need not appear for the theory examination. Moreover, the previous theory marks will be carried forward when calculating the final marks. To appear for the compartment examination, students will need to contact their exam centers without fail by August 22. When contacting the exam center, students must present their CBSE Mark sheet and admit card. The compartment theory and practical exams will be held offline across multiple test centers in the country. Students need to follow the protocols mentioned on the admit card. The admit card for compartment exams are available on the Pariksha Sangam Portal, and candidates can access the portal by visiting the official website of CBSE-www.cbse.gov.in.

When appearing for the exam, students need to follow Covid protocols. They need to cover their nose and mouth with a mask and keep sanitizing their hands. To ensure safety, examination centers are also following social distancing.

The exam result for classes 10th and 12th was declared in July, and the pass percentage stood at 94.4% for class 10th and 92.71% for class 12th.
