Nisha Niren Joshi is a Mathematics teacher with experience of more than twenty years. She holds expertise in the subject and has guided more than thousands of students in all these years. She was recently awarded the Diamond Educator Award by Teachmint under the Teachmint Teacher Recognition Program. Our team was eager to know her response and we reached out to her, here are her thoughts-

Nisha Ma’am started her teaching journey in 2004, she joined a renowned school in Vadodara. Teaching there for almost eight years, she decided to teach independently. She opened her own coaching institute, UC Coaching Classes, and has been running it all by herself for the past twelve years. Her efforts and love for her profession were what made her a Diamond educator. Teaching for more than eight hours each day, handling two hundred students(from 2 different boards), assigning them homework, ensuring their development is not an easy task, but she handled it all with ease.
She believes that being a teacher can sometimes be monotonous if the individuals don’t love the subject. What keeps her motivated for teaching the same concepts every year is her love for Mathematics. She has always been a fan of the subject and the new ways of solving one equation amazes her every time. She also believes that her students deserve a major share of credit in making her journey successful.
"My students are my power and the reason I have the will to work hard each day. What makes me happy at the end of the year is their success. Observing a marked difference in their journey from the first day of the class to the result day is what makes me happy more than anything.”
