CBSE Science Challenge

It is said that the science of today is the technology of tomorrow. To spark the curiosity in students, CBSE is organizing a ‘Science Challenge’. It is open for students of classes 8 to 10. The challenge is available on the official DIKSHA portal from January 17th to February 28, 2022.

Students of all boards can compete through the official DIKSHA platform. This challenge is being conducted “as an initiative to generate curiosity, enquiry and higher order thinking amongst the learners.”

Schools affiliated with the CBSE will be able to register their students for the challenge on DIKSHA by providing the CBSE registration IDs. Students who are not affiliated will be able to access the course directly through the DIKSHA platform.

The Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) Science Challenge enables students and schools to test their knowledge.  To appear for the quiz, just register with the CBSE website, and generate a Registration ID that can be provided to your student who can then register on the DIKSHA portal and take the quiz.

There is no participation fee for this activity. This is an attempt to increase the inquisitiveness in children. Science is an inevitable part of our lives. It is crucial to have an understanding about the same and this challenge will get more students to  engage with this subject.

All the students who take part in the CBSE Science Challenge will receive a participation certificate. Schools can then nominate five children from each class who have secured a participation certificate in the Science Challenge directly to the second stage or national qualifiers of the Raman Young Science Innovator Awards.

For more information about the challenge, head on to the official website.

In case of any queries, students can write to: [email protected].
