The pandemic that hit us in 2020 has proved to the world the importance and advantages of online education. The students who hail from rural areas never imagined receiving quality education from top educators while sitting at home. Online education has not only provided a comfortable and pocket-friendly learning system but has also helped various teachers in expanding their reach. I would highly recommend all students as well as teachers to shift to the online learning mode and get future-ready, said Shobhit Sir in a conversation with the Teachmint team.
Shobhit Upadhyay is a Diamond Educator under the Teachmint Teacher Recognition Program. He hails from Seohara, Uttar Pradesh. He is a qualified, talented, and passionate teacher who loves each day of being a teacher. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Science along with a Bachelor's of Education(B.ed) degree. He was previously associated with prestigious educational institutions like St. Xaviers, but later, he decided to teach as a private educator. He runs his own coaching institute on Teachmint by the name, Divisha Coaching Classes.
His teaching journey began in 2001, almost 21 years back. To earn a livelihood, he decided to take up tuition classes, but gradually he fell in love with the profession and decided to take up teaching as a full-time profession. After 19 successful and smooth years of teaching a big challenge came his way, the pandemic. The pandemic was not easy for anyone, especially for the private educators. He started figuring out solutions to help his students and decided to begin his online teaching journey. Things did not work smoothly until he matched with Teachmint. He joined Teachmint in November 2020 and has been teaching on the platform ever since. His patience, hard work, and right choices kept him going. With his positive mindset and rigorous efforts, he managed to conduct more than 1000 hours of online classes on Teachmint. As a result of which, he holds the prestigious Diamond Educator Trophy today.
The trophy arrived as a surprise for his students and family, all of them were elated to see Shobhit Sir's achievements.
"It was a moment of pride for me, a moment to remember forever. Being acknowledged and appreciated for your efforts is the best feeling ever. I could not ask for a better way of encouragement. This achievement has filled me with new zeal and vision to teach. My profession has given me so much love, respect, and recognition, I promise to share all the love and knowledge further", added Shobhit Sir.
He loves to teach online as with the help of online teaching he can reach the students who actually need him but due to lack of resources they fail to do so. 'I would love to continue teaching online and I would also recommend all the teachers to shift to online teaching. Online teaching brings an opportunity for all the teachers to outshine and rebuild themselves as successful educators', said Shobhit Sir.
