Teaching is one of the most divine professions in the world. It takes dedication, devotion, energy, and the capacity to accomplish more with the available resources. Teachers are one of the most innovative and creative people and when teaching moved online earlier this year, the innovation showcased by teachers across India to adapt to the changing times is the testament to their dedication towards education. To celebrate and showcase such teachers and their talents, Teachmint decided to launch Teachmint Jugaad League.
Teachmint Jugaad League(TJL) tried to highlight the true "Jugaad" that our teachers showcased and the innovative methods they used in their online class set up. TJL was an online contest that started on 3rd October 2020 and went on till 10th October 2020. We had asked teachers to share their innovative online class set up and share it through their Facebook handles.
We are delighted to share that we got an amazing response to the contest and received multiple participations from teachers across India. We received many amazing entries ranging from set-up made out of mike-stands to fridge sliders to some entries where tables and chairs have changed roles to become stand for whiteboard or mobile during live classes which is superbly inspiring for all of us.
While most of the entries followed the rules of the contest, we also received some entries which we could not accommodate as they did not follow one or more competition rules or deployed unfair means. The wait however is over. On the basis of engagement on the post, i.e., the likes and shares, we have the following winners :
Winner - OnePlus Nord - Navaneeth V Menon
With the maximum amount of likes and shares, Navaneeth V Menon is the winner of the contest. Navaneeth's innovative set-up of upside down selfie-stick taped to the wall was a hit among netizens and Navaneeth's (also famous as Nandu Sir in his circles) innovation bagged him the coveted OnePlus Nord mobile phone.
